If you're a textiles specialist looking for ideas on how to deliver the D&T GCSE core content in a way that engages students with a particular interest in textiles we've released a new date for our online course (11th February 2025 3.45pm - 5.45pm).
Although the course is designed for textiles specialists it may also be of interest to other material specialists.
The course content includes resoures for delivering learning on areas textiles specialists may feel less confident on e.g. levers and mechanisms, timbers, metals, polymers and paper and board, all in a way that is relevant to textiles.
The online session includes hands on activities and a materials pack is sent to participants before the course takes place. Materials are also included in the pack so participants can do some of the activities listed in the resource in their own time.
