E-textiles Tetrahedron Light - Glow in the Dark (Physical Product)
Hand-made one off unique light with flashing blue LEDs in the shape of a tetrahedron. The light is decorated using machine embroidery stitches, appliqued reflective tape that shines in low light levels and phosphorescent thread that glows in the dark.
E-textiles LEDs and components are designed for use in textiles products and don't get hot. The light has an on/off switch on the base. The product includes a CR2032 coin cell battery which can be replaced (note instruction video on inserting the battery may not show the actual product purchased and is for information only).
The light is made from a polyester/cellulose S80 heavy weight non-woven Vilene material. The product is delicate and can't be washed.
The light measures approximately W16cm x D10.5cm x H10cm (jewellery & trinket tray shown for scale only).

This is part of our designer maker range. It is inspired by our interest in new developments in textiles, including the development of electronics being integrated into textiles products (e-textiles). It is also inspired by unusual materials and the effects they create e.g. phosphorescent pigments and reflective materials.
